The Mountain Top

A six-day deep immersion that blends survival, discipline, entheogenic ceremony and a peppering of deep luxury. Guests hike into the mountain, live in rugged shelters, and undergo a carefully guided process of physical challenge, and sincere devlopment.

Soldier Mountaintop is Kaigo’s most intense retreat. A journey for those seeking to test their body, sharpen their mind, and awaken their spirit in the rugged heart of Jamaica’s highlands.

Participants leave behind comfort taking a large sailboat to the remote part of the island and step into a world of training with some of the world’s greatest martial arts teachers, jungle survival, spring fed infinity pool and the freedom to engage in some of our deepest plant ceremonies, guided by the philosophy that true strength is forged through challenge, discipline, awareness and connection with the land.

Over six days, guests hike steep trails, train in warrior practices, and live simply atop the mountain — sleeping close to the earth, sharing fireside meals, and engaging in ceremonial work with powerful entheogens. Each plant is introduced with intention, aligned to the physical and spiritual training arc.

This retreat is not for those seeking comfort — it is for those seeking transformation. Soldier Mountaintop is physical challenge united with personal development. Self is stripped to forceful essence of personal will.

Unity Ascent

A Kaigo Mountaintop Team-Building Experience

Unity Ascent is a survival based team challenge designed to strengthen bonds, test resilience, and forge trust in the raw elements of the Jamaican wilderness. Whether for couples seeking deeper connection or business teams striving for stronger collaboration, Unity Ascent strips away unnatural comfort and distractions so participants can rediscover what it means to step fully into their tasks. This is a booked event per group; we are happy to work with large groups but will not be putting out a retreat schedule for this offering and scheduling will be on an individual basis.

Couples & Personal Teams

Unity Ascent offers Private groups the chance to step outside routine and face the mountain together with three items each. From building a fire, foraging for food in the Jamaican Jungle, bathing in a natural spring, to guiding each other up steep trails, couples learn to communicate under pressure, celebrate shared victories, and rekindle trust. Spend two days with masters of the Jamaican Bush to learn the survival secrets of the land, then 5 days challenging yourself and your group to making it on your own. Entheogenic ceremonies can be included to support vision, honesty, and connection. Daily professional therapist, facilitator and/or bush guide is available even inside the 5 days.

Business & Professional Teams

For organizations, Unity Ascent is an unforgettable leadership and team-building program. Group survival exercises—such as shelter construction, food foraging, and endurance hikes demand clear communication, problem-solving, and mutual accountability. Taking in the information from the bush guides and applying it in a unified manner will be the real indicator of comfort on the mountaintop. Optional ceremonial elements to inspire creativity and clarity, business teams return stronger, more adaptable, and united by shared challenges. If you’re ready to take your team to the top of the mountain, then choose ours.
